What to Expect
Gb2 Football Fundamental Camps are Saturday instruction camps that run from 9:00am-2:00pm. Team specific skills camps are available upon request. Your player will be coached and trained by veteran NFL and NCAA coaches and players. They will learn football fundamentals and the importance of safety first as they learn tackling and blocking techniques. Field demonstration by players along with available football equipment will help participants execute proper contact techniques.
Participants will be put into groups based on age and skill to ensure that everyone has equal competition and remain safe as they go through each drill. Our experienced coaching staff will take the necessary steps to guide your child throughout the camp.
Gb2 football camps are a great way to introduce your child to the game of football as they learn the proper techniques and skills necessary to play the game. You can feel confident that your player is in good hands and will not only leave a more skilled football player but have a blast doing it. For our camps with mature and skilled participants they will leave with skills and techniques to help further build their talent and take their game to the next level.

Camp Format and Fundamentals
Athletes will participate in rotating drills designed to teach them a variety of contact techniques, moves and schemes. Players will learn all positions and have an opportunity to test what they have learned through age and skill appropriate scrimmages at the end of camp.
Athletes will learn:
– Defensive techniques with proper tackling in different scenarios
– Appropriate blocking techniques and positions
– Throwing, catching, running skills with pads
– Age-appropriate concepts for all positions
– Tackling, blocking, running, passing and kicking
CAMP OUTLINES
ALL SKILLS CAMP:
This camp offers individual instruction for O-Line, Quarterbacks, Receivers, Running Backs, Tight Ends, D-Line, Linebackers, Defensive Backs, and Kickers. Each position is coached by a current/former pro, college player or coach.
– T-shirt/athletic top, and turf cleats or tennis shoes
– Lunch and T-Shirt provided
– Non-padded camp
CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY FUNDAMENTALS CAMP:
This camp offers foundational and advanced technique and instruction for all skill levels and positions, ending with friendly competitions and awards at the end of the day.
– T-shirt/athletic top, and turf cleats or tennis shoes
– Lunch and T-Shirt provided
– Tackling, blocking, running, passing and kicking
– Non-padded camp
WHAT TO BRING:
Football equipment including pads and helmets are available for certain camps. However, players are encouraged to bring their own. Participants are expected to arrive 30 minutes before camp begins if they need to be fitted with gear.
Athletes should bring:
– Athletic shirt and shorts
– Cleats – any sports cleat is acceptable
– A water or drink for breaks
– If in the heat please apply sun screen
– Mouthpiece
